Fine old-time fiddle music from this Indiana band that had an equally successful record out 3 years earlier (YODEL-028-CD, LET US PLAY, $13.99). Again, the music features the twin fiddles of Frank Hall & Claudio Buchwald, with backing by Sam Bartlett (guitar or banjo) and Abby Ladin on string bass. The 16 tracks feature some great tunes in LADY OF THE LAKE, HASH ROAD, FRISKY JIM, ROAD TO WESTFIELD, LAST SHOT GOT HIM, & SADDLE UP THE GRAY. A couple of vocals are nicely done & add a measure of variety (WILL YOU MISS ME & DROWSY SLEEPER).
